Investing in the future of the blue economy

Blue Action Accelerator brings together entrepreneurs, policymakers and investors to fund and accelerate technologies at the nexus of coastal climate change mitigation and adaptation.

We invest $150K cash & offer a 4-month cohort-based support program to pre-seed and seed stage startups. Our goal is to positively impact the preservation of our oceans and marine environments through technology and entrepreneurship. To date, we have invested in 11 blue economy companies that have subsequently raised $45M follow-on funding in 18 months.

Blue Action Accelerator is a collaboration between Blue Action, a Bahamas-based ocean innovation hub, and Founders Factory. In 2025 Blue Action expanded to Vancouver, Canada in partnership with COAST.
