Metal Light

Metal Light has built a metal-air generator that uses replaceable metal cassettes, reinvented around zinc, to generate electricity through an electro-chemical reaction, offering a silent, zero-emission, drop-in alternative to diesel generators. Its products span portable power generation, residential back-up power and off-grid access, with a mobile energy bank aimed at use cases such as mobile medical stations and outdoor events.

Founded by James Pikul, Ryan Goethals and Zehan Li, the company went through the HAX hardtech accelerator and has raised early pre-seed funding to develop its long-duration storage technology.
