ACUA Ocean

ACUA Ocean designs and builds hydrogen-powered, uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) for data collection and monitoring across the ocean and maritime industries, enabling long-endurance operations without a crew onboard. The UK-based company's Pioneer-class vessels are engineered to operate in high sea states relative to their size, carrying sensor payloads for offshore energy, environmental monitoring and defence applications.

ACUA Ocean has raised £5.5M to date, including a £1.5M pre-seed round co-led by StealthPoint and Britbots alongside £4M in UK government R&D grants from DEFRA and the Department for Transport, and was named among Resilience Media's 100 Startups to Watch in 2026.
