Atmocooling has built seawater and brine-based evaporative cooling technology that can lower ambient temperatures by up to 15°C across areas from 10 to 10,000 hectares without using fresh water, targeting coastal desert regions where heat stress and water scarcity coincide. Founded in 2022 and operating out of Abu Dhabi's Hub71 ecosystem, the company is piloting deployments across the UAE and neighbouring desert zones to support agriculture, power infrastructure and outdoor venues.
Atmocooling raised $2.6M in pre-seed funding co-led by Nucleus Capital and Revent Ventures, with participation from Marble, Unruly and Founders Factory's Blue Action Accelerator.
