Umazi is a London-based startup automating enterprise identity and due diligence, aiming to become the 'Stripe' of corporate onboarding by removing the duplicative, siloed checks businesses repeat every time they onboard a new supplier, client or partner. Its platform uses distributed ledger technology to digitally verify corporate identities once and let organisations securely share and reuse that verified credential, cutting the time and cost of KYB and supplier onboarding.
Umazi went through Founders Factory's fintech accelerator programme alongside Aviva, and raised a £730k pre-seed round led by Innovate UK in 2022. The product now operates as Co.ID by Umazi, a digital business profile and identity platform.
