Founded in 2013 by Marcin Pilarz, Talkin' Things is a Warsaw-based manufacturer of RFID and NFC tags and an end-to-end smart packaging provider that lets brands digitise physical products for supply-chain traceability, authentication and consumer engagement. Its tags, used by companies including Sanofi, Mars, Nestlé and L'Oréal, combine engineering and large-scale production to bring tag costs down to a few cents each.
The company raised $20M from Polish investment firm TDJ and existing backer Montis Capital in 2022 to scale production, and more recently secured further growth debt financing from Orbit Capital.
