The Company

Founded in 2020 by Helge Reikeras, Ask Helseth and Lorea Coronado-Garcia, Spoor builds AI-powered computer vision software that detects, tracks and classifies birds and bats at onshore and offshore wind farms in real time, using off-the-shelf cameras integrated with wind farm control systems. The Oslo-based company's platform combines that live detection with weather, radar and historical activity data to help developers and operators automate shutdown and mitigation decisions and meet biodiversity regulations without relying solely on limited manual surveys.

Spoor closed an €8M Series A in December 2025 led by SET Ventures, with participation from EnBW New Ventures, Ørsted Ventures, Superorganism, Futurum Ventures and Norway's state climate fund Nysnø, bringing its total raised to $13.4M.
