Founded by CEO Will Brocklebank, London-based Shepherd (shepherd.fm) was an IoT and AI-powered predictive maintenance platform for the facilities management industry, using connected sensors to monitor equipment such as boilers and circulation pumps and send instant alerts before failures caused service disruption. The technology was piloted by Aviva's Digital Garage facilities management team, with Shepherd going through Founders Factory's fintech accelerator supported by Aviva.

Shepherd raised $870k in seed funding from angel investors in 2017; its website and domain are no longer active, indicating the company has since wound down.
