Shai is an Amsterdam-based generative AI platform that accelerates pre-production for film, advertising and other creative projects, turning scripts into detailed storyboards, shot lists and production plans in minutes rather than days. The tool uses AI-generated imagery and video animatics to help filmmakers, advertisers and brand teams visualise concepts early and iterate faster, cutting the time and cost typically spent on manual storyboarding.

Founded in 2023, Shai raised a pre-seed round backed by Antler as it works with agencies and studios to bring AI-native workflows to creative production.
