Qumata, formerly known as HealthyHealth, is a London-based insurtech that uses digital data such as medical records, GPS and wearable data to assess an individual's risk of developing over 800 medical conditions, replacing the long manual questionnaires and medical exams traditionally required for life and health insurance underwriting. Insurers and employers use Qumata's risk scoring to price cover faster and more accurately while giving applicants a quicker, less invasive route to coverage.
The company rebranded from HealthyHealth to Qumata in 2021 alongside a $10M Series A led by MMC Ventures, later extending that round to $23M as it signed a partnership with AIA Group to expand across Asia.
