Founded in 2024 by Anthony Jacob, a former remittances specialist at Taptap Send, Nila connects non-resident Indians in the UK and US with a network of over 120 professional care managers across more than 10 Indian cities to coordinate care for elderly parents back home, covering medical appointments, health records and emergency support.
Incubated inside Founders Factory's Aviva-backed fintech venture studio, Nila has facilitated more than 3,000 care requests with zero customer churn since launch, and raised a $2.4M pre-seed round in October 2025 led by LocalGlobe, with participation from Redbus Ventures and angel investors linked to Wise, Revolut and Nala.
