The Company

Myonerv has built a wearable neurostimulator that lets stroke survivors continue upper-limb rehabilitation after their physiotherapy session ends. The device uses a high-density array of custom electrodes to deliver intent-triggered electrical stimulation to individual finger and hand muscles, paired with a companion app that lets clinicians track sessions and guide therapy remotely.

Founder and CEO Sam Kamali started the company after watching his cousin relearn to move his arm and hand following a childhood brain haemorrhage. Myonerv has been developed with support from the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, Babraham Research Campus, ARIA's Cambridge NeuroWorks programme and Innovate UK, and has been trialled with NHS stroke rehabilitation teams in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
