Manna Insect

Founded in 2018 in Oulu, Finland, Manna Insect has built a modular, insect-based system that upcycles 5 to 200 tonnes of biowaste per site each month into a high-quality, cost-effective feed ingredient designed to replace soy meal in livestock diets. Its Manna MIND technology, now in its second generation, gives insect farmers software-driven tools to run and monitor small, local upcycling operations in any climate.

The company raised a €228K pre-seed round in 2023 backed by Gorilla Ventures, Kielo Growth, G-Force and Founders Factory, alongside private angel investors from Finland and Norway.
