Mothers using Mae have seen a 30% reduction in both C-section rates and preterm birth rates compared with national averages for Black women, and the company has raised pre-seed and seed funding from investors including SteelSky Ventures, Jumpstart Nova and Avestria Ventures to expand access to culturally competent maternal care.
