Kayna

Founded in 2021 by Paul Prendergast and Peter Bermingham and developed inside Founders Factory's Aviva-backed venture studio, Kayna, based in Cork, Ireland, builds infrastructure that lets vertical SaaS platforms embed tailored small-business insurance directly into the software their customers already use, using AI to identify coverage gaps and connect platforms to multiple insurers and brokers.

Kayna has raised roughly €2.5M in total funding, including a €1.5M seed round in March 2026 led by original investor Delta Partners with participation from MiddleGame Ventures, Aperture, Leo Capital, Enterprise Ireland and Digital Irish, and counts major insurers such as Willis Towers Watson among its customers.
