Genie Fertility is building an AI-powered discovery platform to unlock new molecular biomarkers from menstrual blood, a rich but almost entirely unexamined source of reproductive health data. The company's first application is a non-invasive diagnostic that analyses endometrial health to help explain fertility issues that standard blood panels and scans miss, starting with signals relevant to IVF outcomes.
Genie Fertility was co-founded in 2024 by CEO Anoushka Menon, a Cambridge-trained geneticist, CTO Dr Andreas Hadjimitsis, a bioengineering PhD from Imperial College London, and founding scientist Dr Yifan Wang, a researcher in Oxford's Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health. The London-based company came out of stealth in late 2025 with $1.22 million in pre-seed funding.
