Founded in Istanbul in 2014 by Baris Ozaydinli and Sinan Uycan, Fitwell was an AI-based personal trainer and nutritionist app that generated tailored workout and meal plans and adapted them as users progressed. Its AI wellness coach, Hailee, let users get guidance without opening the full app, and Fitwell grew to over 1.35 million members across 220 countries, joining the Aviva and Founders Factory fintech accelerator programme along the way.

The company raised $616K from investors including Lastminute.com, MADE.COM and Founders Factory; its app and website are no longer live.
