Founded by CEO Dr. Liz Dennett, a geomicrobiologist and astrobiologist who previously served as CTO at Cemvita, Endolith increases copper recovery from low-grade ores in existing heap leaches by harnessing custom-engineered microbial communities, synthetic biology and a cloud-native monitoring platform. Operating out of labs in Arvada and Westminster, Colorado, the company deploys into existing mine infrastructure without major construction, and has formed partnerships with mining majors including BHP and Rio Tinto.
Endolith joined the Founders Factory and Rio Tinto Mining Tech Accelerator as it works to address the widening global copper supply shortfall.
