Ecogas is a Perth, Western Australia cleantech company that converts biomass waste into food-grade CO2, renewable energy and biochar, with a mission of delivering renewable process heat and high-value carbon-based products with no green premium cost. Its anaerobic digestion process produces an affordable, scalable substitute for natural gas and green hydrogen, aimed at heavy industry and food and beverage producers working toward net-zero process heat and CO2.
Alongside process heat and food-grade CO2, Ecogas supplies biochar in bulk and bagged form to farms, landscapers, and civil, asphalt and filtration projects across the Perth metro area, improving water retention and nutrient-holding capacity in the region's sandy soils.
