Clearglass Analytics was founded by Dr Christopher Sier, a World Bank and FCA expert who developed the UK's cost transparency standard, alongside co-founders Ritesh Singhania and Kunal Varma. The platform gives pension funds and asset managers a single view of all their investment costs, drawing in more granular data from asset managers and suppliers than is typically disclosed, and has been used by more than 500 defined benefit pension schemes to uncover fees that can run more than double what was expected.
Clearglass raised a £2.6M seed round backed by Lakestar, Outward VC and a group of pension and asset management angels, targeting the UK's £1.5 trillion DB pensions market.
