Founded in 2021 by Rob Bartlett, Ken Fraser and Tim Bird, Big Ticket Platform is building the digital infrastructure for Open Insurance, starting with a neutral, API-first hub that lets corporates, brokers and insurers securely exchange and validate exposure data instead of relying on spreadsheets and email. The Atlanta-headquartered company went live in Property, Terrorism and Real Estate lines in 2023, expanded into the US and UK in 2024, and extended into Casualty and Cyber insurance in 2025, with MasterCard as a founding partner and an advisory board spanning Aon, Aviva, Zurich and Pool Re.
Big Ticket has raised $4.5M in seed funding to scale the platform across the global commercial insurance market.
