Founded in September 2018 by Justus Brown, previously Chief Product Officer at Founders Factory, Acre is an end-to-end, cloud-based platform for mortgage brokers that brings mortgages, protection insurance, home insurance and conveyancing into one system, making home-buying frictionless and pain-free with an auditable digital record of the whole advice journey. Built in partnership with Aviva through the Founders Factory Studio, the platform has grown to more than 1,300 broker users processing over £10bn in annual mortgage volume.
Acre raised £5M in 2019 backed by Aviva and Sesame Bankhall Group, followed by a further £6.5M late-seed round in 2023 from Aviva, the McPike Global Family Office and Founders Factory.
